  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Warm water
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Roll each dough ball into a thin circle and fry in the hot oil until puffy and golden, about 1 minute per side.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
