Main Ingredients
- 2 sheets Puff pastry thawed if frozen
- ½ cup Pesto
- 1 Egg beaten
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Spread the pesto evenly over one sheet of puff pastry.
Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top of the pesto-covered sheet. Cut the pastry into a large triangle shape to form the tree.
Cut horizontal slits on both sides of the triangle, leaving the center intact to form the tree trunk. Twist each strip to create the tree branches.
Brush the entire tree with the beaten egg.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
