Pretzel Dogs Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 8 hot dogs
- 10 cups water
- ⅔ cup baking soda
- 1 egg yolk, beaten with 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 8 strips.
Wrap each hot dog with a strip of dough, pinching the ends to seal.
In a large pot, bring water and baking soda to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer.
Gently lower each wrapped hot dog into the water for 30 seconds. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush each pretzel dog with the egg yolk mixture and sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
