Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Sugar
- 4 Eggs large
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour sifted
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Milk
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Beat just until combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
