Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Return pork chops to the skillet, spooning some sauce over them. Simmer until pork chops are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
