Main Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon parsley, chopped
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
Return pork chops to the skillet, spooning some sauce over them. Simmer until pork chops are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
