Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 400 g Pasta any type
  • 2 pieces Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Basil Leaves fresh
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • cup Pine Nuts
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-fry until cooked through. Slice into strips.
  3. 3. In a blender, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, and olive oil. Blend until smooth to make the pesto.
  4. 4. Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce. Add the sliced chicken on top.
  5. 5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
