- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup Pepperoni slices, chopped
- ½ cup Pizza sauce
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped pepperoni slices.
Grease a muffin tin and fill each cup about ⅔ full with the batter.
Add a small spoonful of pizza sauce on top of each muffin.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the muffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
