Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups peeled and chopped pears
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, mix together the eggs, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir in the chopped pears.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
