Ingredients 

Meringue

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch

Topping

  • 1 cup heavy cream whipped
  • 1 cup fresh fruits sliced (strawberries, kiwi, etc.)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in vanilla extract, white vinegar, and cornstarch.
  5. Spoon meringue onto the prepared baking sheet and shape into a circle with a slight indentation in the center.
  6. Bake for 90 minutes, then turn off the oven and let the meringue cool completely in the oven.
  7. Once cooled, top with whipped cream and fresh fruits. Serve immediately.
