Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can sardines in oil, drained
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add the sardines and break them up with a spoon. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4. Add chili flakes and lemon juice. Stir well.
  5. 5. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the pan. Mix well to combine.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
