Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for frying vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender. Mash them and set aside.
  2. In a frying pan, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until browned. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Take a handful of mashed potatoes, flatten it, and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center. Fold the potatoes around the filling to form a ball.
  4. Roll each potato ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the potato balls until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
