Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 packet gelatin unflavored
  • 3 tablespoon water cold

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is hot, but not boiling.
  3. 3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. 4. Add the gelatin mixture to the hot cream and whisk until completely dissolved.
  5. 5. Pour the mixture into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  6. 6. Serve chilled, optionally with fresh berries or a fruit sauce.
