- 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme dried
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Add the minced garlic and thyme to the skillet and cook for another minute.
Check the internal temperature of the pork chops with a meat thermometer. It should read 145°F (63°C).
Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 3 minutes before serving.
