  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme dried

Instructions 

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  4. Add the minced garlic and thyme to the skillet and cook for another minute.
  5. Check the internal temperature of the pork chops with a meat thermometer. It should read 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 3 minutes before serving.
