Open Face Mozzarella Sandwich
A simple and delicious open-face sandwich with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil.

Main Ingredients
- 2 slices Bread Preferably sourdough
- 4 slices Tomato Fresh and ripe
- 4 slices Fresh Mozzarella Thick slices
- 1 handful Fresh Basil Torn
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Extra virgin
- to taste Salt and Pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet.
3. Layer the tomato slices and mozzarella on the bread.
4. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
5. Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
