- 2 large Onions thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- ¼ cup Brown sugar
- ¼ cup Balsamic vinegar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft and caramelized, about 25-30 minutes.
Stir in the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Continue to cook for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick and jam-like.
Let cool before serving or storing in an airtight container.
