  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg and then whisk in the milk and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the pan, using approximately ¼ cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
