- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 3 cups Old-Fashioned Oats
- 1 cup Raisins
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
Mix in the oats and raisins.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are golden.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
