Ingredients

Dough Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups Warm water 110°F
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast 2 ¼ tsp

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside to heat up.
  6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two equal portions. Roll each portion out to your desired thickness.
  7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a piece of parchment paper. Add your favorite toppings.
  8. Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
