Chicken
- 4 pieces Chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
Marinade
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon Hot sauce
Coating
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
Hot Oil
- 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying
- 2 tablespoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk and hot sauce for at least 1 hour.
2. Mix flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
3. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
5. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 10 minutes per side.
6. In a separate pan, heat cayenne pepper, brown sugar, garlic powder, and paprika in 1 cup of the frying oil.
7. Brush the hot oil mixture over the fried chicken.
