Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Warm water
  • ¼ cup Plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add flour, salt, yogurt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. 5. Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and then flatten into a circle.
  6. 6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each naan for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
