Main Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
- 1 cup white vinegar
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, mustard seeds, turmeric, salt, and peppercorns. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Place eggs and onion slices in a clean jar.
Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the eggs and onions.
Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
