Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 green plantains peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup pork cracklings
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Fry the plantains until golden and tender, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. 3. Remove the plantains from the pan and place them in a mortar.
  4. 4. Add the minced garlic, pork cracklings, salt, and pepper to the mortar.
  5. 5. Mash everything together until well combined and smooth.
  6. 6. Shape the mixture into small balls or serve as is.
  7. 7. Serve hot and enjoy!
