Mississippi Slugburger Recipe
A classic Mississippi delicacy, the slugburger is a deep-fried burger patty made with a mixture of beef and soy grits, served on a bun with mustard, pickles, and onions.

Burger Patties
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 cup Soy grits
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
To Serve
- 4 Hamburger buns
- 1 cup Pickles sliced
- 1 cup Onions sliced
- 1 cup Mustard
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soy grits, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into 4 patties.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil.
Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve the patties on hamburger buns with pickles, onions, and mustard.
