  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • ¼ cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can Creamed corn
  • 1 can Diced green chilies

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and vegetable oil.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in cheese, creamed corn, and green chilies.
  5. Pour batter into a greased baking pan.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
