Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large Russet Potatoes peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup Water cold
  • 2 tablespoon Corn Syrup
  • 1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into thin strips.
  2. Soak potato strips in cold water mixed with corn syrup for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat dry the potato strips.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Fry the potato strips in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove fries and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
