Main Ingredients
- 8 pieces Manicotti shells
- 2 cups Ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 piece Egg
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 tablespoon Fresh basil, chopped
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook manicotti shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, salt, pepper, and basil.
Fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture.
Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
Place filled shells in the baking dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil for the last 10 minutes if you want a crispy top.
