  • 8 oz Elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain.
  3. 3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. 4. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook until thickened and bubbly.
  5. 5. Stir in cheese until melted. Add salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni. Pour into a baking dish.
