Main Ingredients
- 8 oz Elbow macaroni
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup Butter
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Milk
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain.
3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
4. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook until thickened and bubbly.
5. Stir in cheese until melted. Add salt and pepper.
6. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni. Pour into a baking dish.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
