Linguine with Clam Sauce
A classic Italian pasta dish with a rich, garlicky clam sauce.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb linguine
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 cups white wine
- 2 lbs fresh clams, scrubbed
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- to taste salt and pepper
1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant.
3. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the clams, cover, and cook until the clams open, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any clams that do not open.
4. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
