Main Ingredients
- 10 lemons organic, washed
- 1 liter vodka high-proof
- 3.5 cups water
- 2.5 cups sugar
Peel the lemons, avoiding the white pith.
Place the peels in a large jar and pour the vodka over them. Seal the jar and let it sit for 2 weeks.
After 2 weeks, strain the liquid into a bowl, discarding the peels.
In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then let it cool.
Mix the sugar syrup with the lemon-infused vodka. Pour into bottles and seal.
Let the limoncello sit for another week before serving chilled.
