Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 10 lemons organic, washed
  • 1 liter vodka high-proof
  • 3.5 cups water
  • 2.5 cups sugar

Instructions 

  1. Peel the lemons, avoiding the white pith.
  2. Place the peels in a large jar and pour the vodka over them. Seal the jar and let it sit for 2 weeks.
  3. After 2 weeks, strain the liquid into a bowl, discarding the peels.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then let it cool.
  5. Mix the sugar syrup with the lemon-infused vodka. Pour into bottles and seal.
  6. Let the limoncello sit for another week before serving chilled.
