Ingredients

  • 10 pieces Limes cut into quarters
  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 cup Mustard Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cut the limes into quarters and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. 2. Add salt, turmeric powder, and red chili powder to the limes. Mix well.
  3. 3. Heat mustard oil in a pan until it starts to smoke. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. 4. Add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds to the oil. Let them splutter.
  5. 5. Pour the spiced oil over the lime mixture. Mix well.
  6. 6. Transfer the mixture to a clean, dry jar. Seal tightly and let it sit for at least a week before using.
