Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Watermelon rind peeled and cut into strips
  • 1 cup Rice vinegar
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Add watermelon rind strips to the boiling mixture. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
