Italian Sausage Peppers and Onions Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage mild or hot
- 3 bell peppers assorted colors, sliced
- 2 onions sliced
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the onions and bell peppers. Cook until softened.
4. Add the garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
5. Return the sausages to the skillet. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
6. Serve hot.
