Turmeric Powder

Garam Masala

Instructions
1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
4. Add chopped vegetables and sauté for 5-7 minutes.
5. Add turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
6. Add rinsed basmati rice and sauté for another 2 minutes.
7. Pour in water and bring to a boil.
8. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
9. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with chopped cilantro.
