Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 inch Ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoon Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 handful Cilantro, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions are golden brown.
  3. 3. Add curry powder, turmeric, cumin, and coriander. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
  5. 5. Pour in tomato puree and coconut milk. Stir well.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
