  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. Store the batter in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  4. To serve, add 2 tablespoons of the batter to a mug, pour in hot water and a shot of rum, and stir until the batter is dissolved. Enjoy!
