Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sriracha, and minced garlic.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
