Ingredients 

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup onion finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Sauce

  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  6. Add cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and stir until thickened.
  7. Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
