Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Ham, finely chopped
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 4 tablespoons Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Vegetable oil, for frying
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add flour and whisk until smooth.
Gradually add milk, whisking continuously until thickened.
Stir in chopped ham, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Transfer mixture to a bowl and let it cool.
Shape the mixture into small logs or balls.
Dip each croquette into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Fry croquettes until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
