Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ham, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and whisk until smooth.
  3. Gradually add milk, whisking continuously until thickened.
  4. Stir in chopped ham, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer mixture to a bowl and let it cool.
  6. Shape the mixture into small logs or balls.
  7. Dip each croquette into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  8. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  9. Fry croquettes until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  10. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
