Ingredients 

Patties

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 package Puff pastry sheets thawed
  • 1 Egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper to the beef. Cook until onions are soft.
  4. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center of each square. Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Brush each patty with beaten egg.
  7. Place patties on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
