Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shredded cheese Cheddar or a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 can Diced green chiles 4 oz can
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Slowly whisk in the milk and cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. 4. Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. 5. Stir in the diced green chiles, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. 6. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
