Main Ingredients
- 1 jar Grape leaves rinsed and drained
- 1 cup Rice uncooked
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 large Onion finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 cup Tomato sauce
- 2 cups Water
1. Rinse and drain the grape leaves.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice, ground beef, onion, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
3. Place a grape leaf shiny side down, add a spoonful of the filling, and roll tightly.
4. Place the rolled leaves in a large pot, seam side down.
5. Pour tomato sauce and water over the grape leaves.
6. Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 60 minutes.
