Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 jar Grape leaves rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup Rice uncooked
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse and drain the grape leaves.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice, ground beef, onion, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. Place a grape leaf shiny side down, add a spoonful of the filling, and roll tightly.
  4. 4. Place the rolled leaves in a large pot, seam side down.
  5. 5. Pour tomato sauce and water over the grape leaves.
  6. 6. Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 60 minutes.
