  • 1 bottle Red Wine
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 Orange sliced
  • 10 Cloves
  • 1 Star Anise

Instructions 

  1. Combine water, sugar, and cinnamon stick in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer.
  2. Cut the orange into slices and add to the mixture along with the cloves and star anise.
  3. Pour in the wine and heat until steaming but not boiling. Serve hot.
