  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 units Egg Yolks beaten
  • ½ cup Butter cubed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Pecans chopped
  • 1 cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened, about 12 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in pecans and coconut. Allow to cool before spreading on cake.
