Fry Bread
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 cup Vegetable oil (for frying)
Taco Filling
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 packet Taco seasoning
- ½ cup Water
- 1 cup Shredded lettuce
- 1 cup Diced tomatoes
- 1 cup Shredded cheese
- ½ cup Sour cream
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
Divide dough into 8 pieces and flatten each piece into a round disc.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each dough disc until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
In another pan, cook ground beef until browned. Add taco seasoning and water, simmer until thickened.
Assemble tacos by placing ground beef on fry bread and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream.
