  • 1 lb scallops
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 lemon optional, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Dredge the scallops in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add scallops to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Remove scallops and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with parsley if desired.
