Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks Recipe

- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Oil for frying
- Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)
Freeze mozzarella sticks for at least 1 hour.
Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Fry mozzarella sticks in batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
Drain on paper towels and serve with marinara sauce.
