- 1 lb morel mushrooms cleaned and halved
- 1 cup flour
- 2 units eggs beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
1. Clean and halve the morel mushrooms.
2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
3. Season the flour with salt and pepper.
4. Dredge each mushroom in the flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
6. Fry the mushrooms in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
