- 1 lb cheese curds
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup beer
- Oil for frying
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add beer to the flour mixture and stir until smooth.
Dip cheese curds into the batter, coating them completely.
Fry the curds in batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot.
