- 1 lb Catfish fillets cut into nugget-sized pieces
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
1. In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
2. Dip catfish pieces in buttermilk, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
4. Fry catfish nuggets until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
