  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1 lemon Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. Dredge the calamari rings in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  4. 4. Fry the calamari in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Remove the calamari from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. 6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
